Double-Barrel Surname is based on real-life experiences that transpired throughout the author’s journey – from poverty to success. The purpose of the book is to show appreciation to the people who played a significant role in her life.
This publication is a follow-up of the previous book, Value-Everything, which teaches us to appreciate the things and people we often take for granted. Double-Barrel Surname reveals how the contribution and support of the author’s relatives helped her overcome poverty and achieve her dreams. Though it focuses on the history of the author, it covers emotive situations and some hilarious moments in her life.
Throughout the book, she acknowledges her paternal relatives, which led to her decision of a double-barrel surname in honour of them.
